Privacy Policy
Updated November 1, 2026 · Revolted Drive 1.1 · Build 120
This policy applies when you use Revolted Drive 1.1 Build 120, including its TestFlight release. Build 120 does not provide CarPlay functionality. Still using 1.0? Read the Revolted Drive 1.0 privacy policy.
Who we are
Revolted Par-Tee Carts provides Revolted Drive. Contact boatbroker@gmail.com or 931-397-4154 about privacy, support or deletion requests. This policy covers the Drive app; Revolted Range has a separate privacy policy.
The short version
Battery readings, learned range, saved runs and Reaction Cam videos are processed or stored on your device. Revolted Drive does not automatically upload them to Revolted Par-Tee Carts. There is no Revolted account system, public leaderboard or developer-operated cloud sync. Google processes data for maps, destination search and navigation; Apple provides weather, optional speech recognition and purchases. You decide whether to share a video, report or support message. We do not sell personal information. The app contains no advertising SDK or developer-run analytics SDK.
Bluetooth, battery data and learned range
With Bluetooth permission, Drive discovers nearby devices and reads compatible battery telemetry, such as charge level, voltage, current, capacity, cell readings and temperatures. Device identifiers, battery nicknames and verified connection profiles are kept locally to recognize batteries. Connection diagnostics can include device names, identifiers, protocol details and response data.
The free battery check briefly connects, displays a reading and then disconnects; a successful connection profile can be remembered on this device. During normal use, the app keeps a recent battery log and uses battery readings with trip distance to learn efficiency and estimate remaining range, charge at your destination and charge after a return trip. These calculations happen on your device. Battery telemetry, learned range and recordings are not supplied to Google by Revolted Drive. A connected Bluetooth session may continue receiving battery readings while iOS permits background Bluetooth activity; disconnect the battery or turn off Bluetooth permission to stop that access.
Location, maps and navigation
With location permission, Drive uses location and GPS-derived speed, heading and distance for the dashboard, trips, weather, maps, navigation and Performance or Track measurements. A compatible external GPS receiver may supply location through the device. Background location is enabled during active navigation so guidance can continue while the phone is locked or the app is in the background. The app enables the system background-location indicator and stops background location when navigation ends.
Google Maps, Navigation and Places receive mapping and navigation location, destination-search text and selected destinations to provide their services. Google may also process IP addresses, device/app identifiers, request metadata, service interactions and diagnostics under its privacy policy. The app does not save a Google place-search history; search results and route progress are used during the current session. Google's processing and retention are governed by its own policies.

Weather and voice destination entry
Apple WeatherKit processes location to provide local weather. Voice destination entry is optional: Apple's speech-recognition service may process microphone audio, and the resulting destination text is sent to Google for search. Voice listening stops when navigation closes or the app enters the background. These Apple services are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Camera, microphone, videos and sharing
Reaction Cam uses camera and microphone access for recording sessions you start or arm. A recording indicator appears while capture is active. Recording stops when you leave its screen or the app enters the background. Videos are saved privately on this device and can include rider images, audio and on-screen driving or battery measurements. Share or delete them from Videos. Adding a video to Photos requires your permission and your choice to save it. Dashboard screen recordings use the system preview; save or share them before closing that preview.
Drive does not automatically post or upload recordings, reports or battery logs. Sharing opens the system share sheet or a mail draft; you choose the destination and whether to send. If you post a clip to Facebook or another service, that service and the audience you select may receive and retain it under their own policies. Review recordings and reports before sharing, and obtain every rider's consent before recording.
Performance, Track and local run history
When you arm Performance, Track or closed-course Reaction Cam, the app snapshots the driver name saved on this device. Completed or stopped runs save locally with a run identifier, date, speed and distance results, peak current, GPS speed/quality samples, battery samples, GPS accessory-source flags, any closed-course confirmation time and validation status. New Build 120 run reports do not contain GPS coordinates, Bluetooth identifiers, Google searches or route content.
The local leaderboard compares qualifying 0–30 mph Track and closed-course Reaction Cam runs on this device. Performance results remain in local history. A device-only signing key checks report integrity. Exported signed records include a public verification key, so recipients may associate reports signed by the same key. Share / Email Report and Export Signed Record send only when you choose to share; recipients receive the driver name and report contents included in the export. There are no automatic run uploads or public rankings. Reaction Cam does not use motion sensors in this build.
Apple purchases, subscriptions and free trial
Apple processes purchases and payment information. Drive uses StoreKit on your device to load offers, check trial eligibility, verify access and restore purchases. We do not receive your payment-card details, and the app does not send purchase receipts to a Revolted server. Apple may provide developers with sales reports or platform diagnostics through its services and your settings.
The U.S. release plans are $4.99 per month or $29.99 per year. A 7-day free trial is available to eligible new subscribers when that offer appears on Apple's purchase confirmation. The actual offer, local price, billing period and renewal terms are shown before purchase. Apple determines introductory-offer eligibility.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. An eligible trial converts to the selected paid plan when it ends unless canceled; cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends to avoid renewal. Manage or cancel in Settings → your name → Subscriptions or Manage Subscriptions. Deleting Drive does not cancel a subscription. Previously purchased lifetime access remains valid and can be restored through the same Apple Account; lifetime access is not offered for sale in this release. Support and optional diagnostic reports
If you email support or choose to send us a video, battery log, connection diagnostic or run report, we receive your email address, message and the attachments you include. A purchase diagnostic can contain the app/build version, operating-system version, purchase action, product identifier and error codes; the app's diagnostic report excludes payment details and receipts. We use support information to investigate and respond. Send only what is needed. Support correspondence is retained while needed for your request or applicable recordkeeping obligations; request deletion at boatbroker@gmail.com.
Retention, backups and deletion
The recent battery log holds up to 20,000 samples, including timestamps, battery measurements, GPS speed and heading, and can be cleared in Details. Videos remain until you delete them in Videos or delete the app. Saved runs remain until you delete them in Local Leaderboard → All Runs, use Privacy & Support to delete all run data, or delete the app. You can remove battery nicknames and reset learned range in the app.
Deleting the app removes its app-container files and preferences; offloading it may retain that data. A run-signing key may remain in the device Keychain and contains no run history or recordings. Local data may be included in backups controlled by your Apple settings. Copies saved to Photos, backups, email, social platforms or other destinations must be managed and deleted separately. We cannot remotely retrieve or erase local app data on your device.
Earlier signed run archives retain their original contents, which may include information no longer saved in new reports. A previous personal-best record may be imported as an older-policy record. Older Reaction Cam and 1-mph-start Performance results remain in history and are not mixed into the newer stationary-start ranking. Unreadable files are preserved for recovery or deletion.
Your permissions and choices
Change camera, microphone, speech-recognition, Photos, Bluetooth and location permissions in iOS Settings. Denying a permission makes the related feature unavailable or limited. The sample demo does not require battery hardware permissions. Stop navigation to end background navigation location access, disconnect a battery to end its connection, and choose what to share. Apple and Google provide their own controls for information processed through their services.
Website links and policy changes
Opening an online policy or support link connects to that website, whose host may process ordinary connection information such as your IP address for delivery and security. This Drive privacy page contains no advertising or analytics scripts. Other pages on Revoltedcarts.com and external services may have different practices. Revolted Drive is not designed specifically for children. Policy changes will be posted here with a revised date.
Safety and accuracy
GPS speed, trip statistics, Performance times and battery range are estimates. Automobile directions do not establish golf-cart road eligibility; check local access rules, signs and vehicle requirements. Performance testing belongs on a suitable closed course. Track and the Reaction Cam track overlay require closed-course confirmation. Mount and set up the device while stopped, and never handle it while driving.
